Read: Doctor Sleep by Stephen King 📚

📚I enjoyed this book. It’s not as scary as The Shining (fewer ghosties), but I liked the more extended timeline compared to the movie.

I also appreciated watching the relationship between Abra and Dan develop over the years. Much of this is conveyed through telepathy, which would be challenging to make interesting in a film (although the filmmakers who made Escape from Witch Mountain did a good job).

I was hoping for more backstory or origin details about the True Knot and Rose the Hat. Where did they start? Were there more unrelated clans? A chapter on Rose’s transformation, etc.
